About Ally McIllhatton

Ally moved to the Central Coast in 2017 to pursue a career in podiatry and has fallen in love with the lifestyle ever since. Ally is a firm believer in the power of patient education as a key factor in improving health outcomes. With a strong commitment to empowering her patients, she focuses on providing them with comprehensive information and suitable treatment pathways, enabling them to make informed decisions about their individual health.

Areas of Interest :

Ally graduated from the University of Newcastle in 2019 with a Bachelor of Podiatry and further pursued a Bachelor of Health Science (Class I Honours) in 2020. During her honours program her research focused on diabetes and diabetes related neuropathy. Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Podiatry, her research centres on diabetes care and the effect this has on the lower limb.

Ally also enjoys supporting individuals through their pain journey and providing tailored management plans to provide personalised care. Whether it's addressing nail and skin conditions or pain caused by injury, she is dedicated to finding solutions that cater to each person's unique needs and health requirements.
