Matt Shanahan, a Central Coast local, is the principal podiatrist at Blueprint Podiatry. With a Bachelor of Podiatry from the University of Newcastle in 2010, Matt has developed a strong reputation for his expertise in foot care. Over the years, he has worked closely with athletes, having served as the podiatrist for the Central Coast Mariners for three years, as well as consulting for several other sporting teams in the region.

Matt specialises in treating a range of conditions, from common forefoot complaints to complex rear foot and ankle pathologies, with a focus on sports medicine, overuse injuries, and paediatric care. As a father of two primary school-aged children, he understands the concerns parents have when addressing children's foot health and strives to offer tailored care with a parent’s perspective in mind.

Matt is registered with the Australian Health Practitioners Registration Association and is an active member of Sports Medicine Australia and the Australasian Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine. His ongoing work with athletes ensures he stays up to date with the latest advances in foot care and injury management, benefiting patients of all ages and backgrounds.

In his personal life, Matt enjoys staying active through baseball, golf, surfing, snowboarding, and fishing. His love for the outdoors reflects his commitment to maintaining a healthy lifestyle, both for himself and his patients.
