Cellulitus

Cellulitis is a bacterial infection of the inner layers of the skin that appears red, and swollen and increases in size. It is painful and requires treatment with antibiotics. It is caused by bacteria entering the skin usually via a break in the skin. Those with weakened immune systems such as the elderly and diabetics are at greater risk of cellulitis.
